Featured Beat Maker: The Corporatethief Beats   The Corporatethief Beats is Hip Hop Beat Maker and online music marketing blogger, who comes from Ireland. He is the owner of the rap beats site and music marketing blog www.thecorporatethiefbeats.com.    Here Daniel makes and sells hip hop beats to up and coming rap artist. Along with sharing his music marketing information his blog. Daniel studied a 4 year Higher Diploma at the Academy of Sound Dublin in Music Production and Sound Engineering.     His interests in music stems back to my early school days. When his parents pushed him to learn instruments like the accordion, fiddle, piano and the guitar.   Lucky enough to  it seemed that the guitar was his chosen instrument and he started to collaborate with other musicians from the local area.   Daniel joined some bands and started to play at open mic nights. Here he would try out new original songs, with his friends whom also played at these events. This spurred me to start taking music seriously.   Back in 2008 one of my closest friends brought his laptop to his house, which had some music production software on it.   He gave Daniel some basic lessons on how to get started with making hip hop beats. Once I had this in my hands I was hooked. He saw my passion for making beats and taking part in online forums like Rocbattle and Warbeats.   Maybe it was time to think of this as a career path. So I enrolled in Fetac Level 5 Course in Music Technology at Galway Technical Institute, just to make sure that I really wanted to go down this route before I did any diploma or degree course.   At GTI I learn a lot about working in a studio with bands, and how to use logic and pro-tools. After this course, I saved up some money and purchased Logic, Pro Tools, Mac, Duet, Midi Keyboard, Speakers and some software synths. I continued my studies as moved to Dublin, where I enrolled in The Academy of Sound Dublin.   I learn a lot about mixing and mastering and how to work with hardware and software. I also carried out live events and mixing sessions for a band that was starting out here. It was here I also get connected to a theater production company where I would carry out the live event as a sound technician.   The whole time I continued to build my online rep as a beat maker. Making hip hop beats that I liked and from the artists that had influenced me. Some of which include, Kid Cudi, Kanye West, Danja, Max Martin, Drake, and much more.   My youtube channel soared to over 912,000 video views. It was about this time too that set up my site called www.thecorporatethiefbeats.com where I make and sell my hip hop beats to up and coming hip hop artists.   The Corporatethief Beats website has evolved since then. I now make it more than just a site where artists can Buy rap Beats. It has become a resource site for hip hop artists that are looking for music marketing information.
